A matched pair of Louis XVI enamel plaques,
signed and dated Parpette 1780

Height: 17 and 16.2 cm. (6 ¾ and 6 ½ in.)     Width: 14.2 cm. (5 ½ in.) (plaques)

Height overall including ring: 19.7 and 19 cm. (7 ¾ and 7 ½ in.)

Width overall including frame: 14.7 cm. (5 ¾ in.)

Upright oval plaques, one painted with a vase of flowers and fruits, the other with a basket of flowers and fruits, both placed on a marble entablature. Mounted in later gilt bronze frames.
